Activity 1.3 – Asking questions
Make a list or idea web: try to write down at least eight questions you might want to answer about the topic you identified after Activity 1.2.
Remember, good questions…
- don’t require a yes/no answer;
- don’t require a simple sentence for an answer;
- can’t be answered with a simple Internet search;
- ask about specific aspects of the topic (get “narrow”);
- ask about causes, current or future effects, relationships, comparisons or contrasts, or reasons;
- try to identify the issues;
- dig deep.
