Bounce Rate

The percentage of sessions that were not engaged sessions (ended quickly without interaction). In GA4, “bounce rate” is defined as sessions shorter than 10 seconds or with only one page view or without any conversion. Example: If 100 sessions occurred and 30 met those bounce criteria, the bounce rate is 30%. Visual: In GA4 Engagement reports you may see bounce rate alongside engagement rate.
